Wyckoff FD Fallen Firefighters Memorial

Dedicated on September 8th of 2002, this memorial has considerable significance to Wyckoff’s members as it pays tribute to one of their own - Firefighter Dana Rey Hannon was lost on 9/11 while operating as a career FDNY firefighter detailed to Engine 26 (he was formally assigned to Ladder 34). Upon dedicating this memorial, the department initiated the Dana Hannon Distinguished Service Award which would be given to any member who went above & beyond the call of duty - the first recipients were the members of the committee that completed the Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
