Lee Center Vol. Fire Department

Serving a rural community, Lee Center’s 40 volunteer members answer an average of 320 alarms annually providing Fire, Extrication & EMS First Response services. 

Rescue Pumper 1 - 2006 Freightliner/Tracy 1500 gpm/1000 gal.

Designed for maximum efficiency with limited manpower, this rig is equipped with a full Hurst rescue tool system, airbags, hybrid rescue equipment and on-board foam system.

Engine 1 - 1971 Ward LaFrance Ambassador 1250 gpm/1000 gal.

After 38 years of faithful service, this rig was scheduled to be replaced in Fall 2009 with a new Sutphen. 

Tactical Unit - 1968 Dodge Power Wagon/Saulsbury 250 gpm/300gal.

Engine 2 - 1989 Mack CF/Emergency One 1500 gpm/1000 gal.

Acting as a water source engine, it is equipped with 30’ & 10’ sections of 6” suction hose & dual porta-ponds.

Lee Center operates their entire fleet from this single 7 bay station.

Tanker - 1990 Mack MS Midliner 2000 gal.

This rig was recently remounted on a new Mack Granite cab & chassis.
